Overview

Volcanoes national park id the oldest national park in Rwanda, it forms part of Virunga massif a chain of 8 volcanoes in the region. Visiting Volcanoes National Park is an unforgettable experience, spectacular rain forest with diversity eco-systems. the Park is very famous for its highlight Mountain Gorillas and Many more Animals like Golden Monkeys and Birds. additionally, when you visit this destination it's an opportunity to enjoy unique beautiful twin lakes that were created by the volcano's eruption and do some water activities that put you in the relaxing mood preparing for trekking.

PROPOSED ITINERARY  

Day 1. This trip starts in Kigali or else where the visitors stay, after being picked up from hotel/lodge and head to northern part of the country and go straight to the twin lakes do short hike on the hill to see the lakes' view, return down do the lakeshore boat ride in one of the lakes enjoy lunch then after go straight to hotel/lodge check-in and stay a night preparing for gorillas trekking.   

DAY 2. this beautiful day starts very early in the morning at 6:30am to make first trekking on time as we recommend the second day to be gorillas trekking. Our driver-guide picks you up from the hotel and take you to the National park Office where you meet A park guide to give a mandatory briefing about does and don'ts in the park then you proceed to the starting point. after trekking on the First day the guide shall recommend or help you choose the restaurant then after lunch head back to your hotel.

Day 3.a trip starts at 6:30Am head back to the park office for another briefing about how to visit the Golden monkeys. after trekking the golden monkeys, maybe there a time to visit the culture center or Ellen de Geneles for Diana Fossey gorilla fund, after this visit, the trip will be heading to the end then prepare for a return to either at your accommodation or to the AIRPORT.
