Akagera National Park has a diversity of animals including The Big 5. elephants, Lions, Black and White Rhinos, Buffalos, and Leopards. other many animals also like Giraffes, Zebras, several antelopes enjoy living in this beautiful nature. several activities like Hot air Balloon, night game drive, Boat riding and more are options in this park.

INDICATIVE ITINERARY

DAY 1. For a 2- Day safari trip, you don't need to leave early, a comfortable drive starts after breakfast around 9:00Am from Kigali or else where you stay.

MIDI-WAY to the National Park, A stop over is planned at Imigongo Art Center where coffee's aroma calls everyone, stretching and gift shop.

after arriving at the park office, you enjoy a short briefing given by the park guides and register then proceed to your accommodation of choice. 

after settling at your lodge, the visitors prepare for a short game drive in the afternoon, night game drive or head to the boat starting point. after afternoon activities, it is time to go back to the lodge relax and prepare for second day.

DAY 2. Wake up early have breakfast and get ready for full game drive. around 6-7 hours driving through diverse land scape like plains, rolling hills, woodlands, not forgetting the lakes and wetlands.  crossing the whole park seeing animals is the best ever, enjoying safari fresh air. then about lunch there are two options either carrying package lunch or enjoying the restaurants in the middle of the park. after a beautiful day, drive back to Kigali or else where we started from. End of the trip
