UGANDA _ RWANDA 

Uganda and Rwanda are neighboring countries in East - Africa known for their stunning landscape and breathtaking scenery, authentic culture experience, rich in history, nature and biodiversity. they are both famous for Mountain gorillas trekking, and exceptional wildlife experience,  

RWANDA: the land of a thousand hills!! A beautiful country known for its rolling green hills, safe and cleanest city in Africa Kigali. the country is also known for leading conservation efforts in Africa. a safe home of many endangered animals like mountain Gorillas, Black and white rhinos and many more wildlife. Rwanda also inspires the world for reconciliation and togetherness among the citizens after 1994 genocide against the Tutsi.

UGANDA: The country is nicknamed the Pearl of Africa, renowned for diverse landscapes, ranging from tropical rainforest and vast Savannas to lakes and source of Nile River. same as neighbors Uganda also very famous for Mountain gorillas trekking in Bwindi national park. spectacular waterfalls, thousands of bird's species making it one of Africa's most rewarding destinations.  Uganda is also Known for its culture as it is one of the few countries in Africa that still have traditional Kingdom.

PROPOSED ITINERARY

DAY 1. Arrive in Kampala city Airport (Entebbe) meet the guide and be dropped to hotel, enjoy Hotel service visit nearest restaurant, coffee shop and relax.

Day 2. Kampala city tour! a day is starting after morning breakfast and start with Uganda national mosque known as Gaddafi Mosque, visit Kabaka's palace (the traditional king of baganda) in afternoon head to Ugandan national Museum, Nakasero local Market and more.

DAY 3. MBURO NATIONAL PARK. A day to Mburo national park starts in the morning after breakfast and head to western part of Uganda around 5 hours' drive where we find a beautiful National park and enjoy evening game drive as well as morning walking safari seeing animals like Zebras, giraffe, common elands, buffalos and many more. after a stunning evening game drive, it is time to be dropped at the lodge closer to the park and stay overnight. 

DAY  4. wake up early by 5am and head back to the park for morning walking safari, one of the unique activities you can do in safari as you get closer and connected with wildlife. after this amazing experience it is time to driver further western part of Uganda to Bwindi national park the home of the Mountain gorillas, as the drive is around 5 hours then several stopovers are planned for lunch, stretching and washrooms.  the night is expected to be in Bwindi area relax and prepare for the one of the highlights of the trip GORILLAS TREKKING.

DAY 5.

GORILLAS TREKKING: A gorilla trekking day is the highlight of the whole journey, after an early breakfast the visitors are supposed to arrive at park office on time to make registration and attend a mandatory briefing given by park rangers. visitors are assigned to gorilla families based on different reasons such as energy level, age and so on. after briefing visitors are guided to go to start points and hike till they reach to the gorillas and enjoy seeing them in their natural habitats. 

after returning from trekking, the guide shall direct visitors to a good local food restaurant relax and then continue the journey to the border and to Rwanda stay a night in Musanze city

DAY 6. Golden Monkeys trekking and Rwanda cultural Village visit.  Golden monkeys are one of Most enjoyable primates' adventures, after an early breakfast visitors attend briefing and registration at the office in Kinigi then go trekking. Rwanda culture performance is enjoyed after trekking and lunch then return drive to Nyungwe national park the most famous rai forest in Rwanda and the home of Chimpanzees and many more primates and stay night in a hotel near by the National park.

DAY 7. CHIMPANZEES trekking. the trek starts early morning same as other primates, Chimpanzee trekking is one of Africa's most exciting wildlife experiences, while gorillas are calm, chimpanzees are much more energetic, social, and constantly on the move. after trekking it will be time to drive to Kigali the capital city, on the way to Kigali a stopover is likely to be in southern province at the coffee shops or at the King's palace Museum and continue to Kigali and stay a night.

DAY 8. KIGALI CITY TOUR. A beautiful day Starts around 9:00 am after breakfast and visit the capital of Rwanda, visiting different places including Kigali Genocide memorial where visitors join Rwandans to commemorate victims died during the genocide against the Tutsi. visit the Local market, craft market, other museums, art galleries and site seeing and stay a second Night in Kigali.

DAY 9.  AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK. Akagera national park is the only savanna area in Rwanda and that makes it a wonderful destination and the home of the Big 5 animals like Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, cape Buffalos, and Leopard. in this park also we find Giraffes, zebras, and many more. 

on the first day of akagera trip starts around 9am in the morning, our guide picks you up after the breakfast and drive immediately to eastern province where akagera park located. midi-way a stopover is planned at imigongo art center for coffee break, stretching, and washrooms then continue to the park.

after arriving to the park, check in and short briefing before continuing to the lodge for check in relax and prepare for evening activity, the SAFARI BOAT RIDE and return to the lodge to spend the night where birds sing for visitors. 

Day 10. THE FULL GAME DRIVE. A full game drive starts early around 7:00 am to maximize exploring the nature as much as possible driving through breathtaking landscapes of rolling hills, open grassland, lakes and wetland. it is the opportunity to see many animals including big cats, elephants, rhinos, in their natural home. lunch is planned in the middle of the park then in the evening everyone returns to the lodge with a smile and unforgettable memories.

DAY 11. RETURN TO KIGALI. A return to Kigali is planned around 10:00 am saying goodbyes to the nature and meeting some of the animals that enjoy saying goodbye to the visitors then drive back to kigali either drop to airport for departure or drop back to hotel for last night and be dropped to airport after enjoying shopping the next day.
